Desire Path is an evergreen project that sits in between the messy weight of the physical world and the frictionless, high-speed of the digital.

Real objects are scanned, digital objects are designed virtually, glyphs, marks and patterns emerge from high dimensional space. These are then translated into the physical world and take on the dysfunction of materiality. The heavy, wet, honesty of clay. On the surface, digital artefacts share space with 3D printing lines, the knocks and scratches of physical handling and the organic patinas of glazing and firing. Objects and images adorned with high and low brow technological scarring.
